The blogosphere is in order to better communicate with everyone AQSIQ food registration process, I hope this information is useful for all food exporters.

According to AQSIQ Notice No. 62, all food and drink producers, agents and domestic consignees are required to file their company information online with the Bureau of Import and Export Food Safety of AQSIQ, China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China. This requirement comes into force with effect from 01 October,2015 and renewal annually in AQSIQ.

The Notice implies that any exporter / agent shall submit a filing application to AQSIQ. Exporters shall fill and submit the application form of Food Exporter through the registration filing management system. Information, such as the exporter and agent’s name, country, area, address, contact name, telephone, food category, etc. needs to be submitted. After submitting the application, the exporter will obtain a registration number by the AQSIQ.

The form to be filled in lists the following food categories: meat, egg (and egg products), aquatic products (and preserved aquatic products), traditional Chinese medicinal materials, grains, cereals (and cereal products), grease and oil, soft drinks and beverages, sugar, vegetables (and vegetable products), flavouring ingredients of plant origin, dried fruits and nuts, other foods of plant origin, canned foods, dairy products, bee products, liquor and alcohol, pastry biscuits and crackers, candied (preserved) fruit, cigarettes, tea, flavouring ingredients, other processed fruit, food for special dietary purposes, other products.

AQSIQ will keep a file of applications of exporters who have submitted complete filing information. A list of filed exporters and agents with their names and countries / regions shall be generated by the AQSIQ registration management system and made public on AQSIQ website.

As stated above, the new regulation will come into force on October 1, 2015. Exporters / agents must register with AQSIQ before that date and obtain a AQSIQ registration number by the AQSIQ management system.

I’m just a student, but I love to know more things for food safety , i can do for our planet .. I think many friends of mine don’t know the standard of food ingredients … please tell me which the best way to let more and more people to know how to protect our food safety standards … THANKS!

Hi Everyone!
I work at Chile’s official partners. As we continue to work on AQSIQ our workplace, we’re trying to greatly reduce or even entirely replace our use of pollutant species here at our corporate headquarters. We’re going to experiment here for a month or two, and then, hope to implement the results at all of our office locations.

They’re very easy for me to request a certificate for my food only takes two weeks, I was happy to do business in the Chinese market.
