China TAX reduce in 2017

Rate of import tariff

Most favored nation rate.

The MFN tariff rate for information technology products of the “Amendment to the Tariff Schedule of the People’s Republic of China to the World Trade Organization” shall continue to be implemented for the first time from 1 January 2017 to 30 June 2017, Since July 1, 2017 the implementation of the second tax cut.

Tariff quota tax rate.

Continue to wheat and other 8 kinds of commodities tariff quota management, tax rate unchanged.

Agreement tax rate.

According to China and other countries or regions signed trade or tariff concession agreements, the implementation of the agreement for some countries or regions tax rate:

To further reduce the agreed tariff rate for some products with Australia, Pakistan, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Iceland, Korea, New Zealand, Peru.

To reduce the tariff rate for some products under CEPA with those of Hong Kong and Macau.

The tariff rates, commodity ranges and tariff rates for goods under the China-ASEAN, Chile, Singapore FTA, the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement and the Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) remain unchanged.

Preferential tax rate.

The continuation of preferential tax rates, commodity ranges and tax rates for the least developed countries remained unchanged.

Export tariff rate

On the export of iron ore and other 213 export tariffs, of which 50 tentative tax rate is zero.
