1. What kind of poultry breeding eggs?
The breeding eggs of breeding poultry mentioned in the announcement refer to poultry and fertilized poultry eggs used to breed young poultry, including chickens, ducks, geese and other breeding poultry birds.
2. Is it necessary to apply for the Entry Animal and Plant Quarantine Permit?
Before signing a trade contract, the importer shall obtain the “Entry Animal and Plant Quarantine Permit” Each entry quarantine permit only allows one batch of breeding poultry or eggs to be imported from France.
3. What requirements does the General Administration of Customs have for the overseas breeding farms and hatcheries of French breeding eggs?
(A) Breeding farms and hatcheries for breeding eggs exported to China must be approved by the French authorities and are under supervision.
(B) The French Ministry of Agriculture and Food provides the list of breeding farms and hatcheries to the General Administration of Customs of China.
(C) An application must be submitted for registration and published on the website of the General Administration of Customs. The validity period of registration is 5 years.
4. What are the animal disease requirements for French breeder eggs in China?
First of all, France must be confirmed as a highly pathogenic avian influenza and Newcastle disease country in accordance with the requirements of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) Terrestrial Animal Health Code;
5. What items need to be tested before export?
Within 30 days before the export of the breeding eggs or 30 days before the hatching of the breeding birds, sampling and testing the breeding eggs or the parent progeny of breeding birds, the result was negative.
6. What are the requirements for the quarantine certificate?
Breeding poultry or eggs exported to China must pass the French official quarantine and issue a quarantine certificate.
