China-Israel Free Trade Agreements
July 11, 2017, China – Israel’s second round of free trade negotiations held in Beijing.
The two sides held consultations on issues such as trade in goods, trade in services and movement of natural persons, trade remedy, economic and technical cooperation, e-commerce, dispute settlement and other legal issues, and made positive progress.
In March 2016, Vice Premier Liu Yandong during his visit to Israel, together with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the start of negotiations in the FTA.
China – Israel has become a third largest trading partner of Israel. In 2016, bilateral trade volume reached 11.36 billion US dollars.
